I know a few people who want to invest in commercialized cannabis and have the funds to do it, but not the knowledge. I feel like having a database of 'experienced cannabis growers' in Alaska who can offer insight and become business partners in commercialized cannabis ventures would benefit all of us (both the growers and the financial backers). So, I'm creating this thread. If you have any experience growing cannabis and would like to put yourself out there as someone who is willing to work in the commercial business as a consultant, grower, business planner, or even a co-partner, please make a post here.
To help keep things organized- fill out this short questionnaire and then post it in your reply:
What growing operations are you most familiar with (hydro, organic, outdoor, indoor, auto-flowering, etc.)?
How many years of experience do you have growing cannabis?
What strains of cannabis have you grown in the past?
Why should someone hire you to manage their cannabis grow?
Any additional information you'd like to add:

What growing operations are you most familiar with (hydro, organic, outdoor, indoor, auto-flowering, etc.)? I'm most familiar with indoor organic grows, but have dabbled in outdoor grows as well.
How many years of experience do you have growing cannabis? Right now I have 2 years of experience growing cannabis (unfortunately, not a lot- but I have devoted a significant amount of my time to it over those two years).
What strains of cannabis have you grown in the past? Blueberry Kush and Skunk are the two I've grown the most.
Why should someone hire you to manage their cannabis grow? I may lack experience, but I make up for it in passion. I love gardening, I love growing, and I love all things organic. I am dedicated to an all-natural healthy grow that is both economically feasible and appealing to people who live an environmentally lifestyle. I focus on making my grows as efficient as possible while also bringing a lot of special care and attention to each of my plants- ensuring that they are healthy, high quality, and exactly what my [hypothetical] customers would expect.
Any additional information you'd like to add: I'm not interested in working with any ole' person- I would primarily want to work with someone local who isn't intending to do a huge scale; but would rather stick to a small manageable business. I only grow organic, and it's something I'm not willing to compromise. With that being said, I work well in teams, I feel like I am capable of leading a group of individuals in an organized manner during a grow, and I know I can help you produce very high quality plants that will be well worth the price-tag you place on them when they go to market.

This thread is a great idea ! and I am sure could be quite useful as businesses get started here in AK, to have a pool of growers to choose from is priceless to the industry, I hope others will get on and post their personal grow experience/skills.
I would like to put my hat in the ring as well, I would be interested in growing for a living for sure.
As far as my grow history, I am an experienced, successful organic grower, with all around knowledge of growing, harvesting and curing of organic cannabis, including breeding and seed harvesting as well as hash making, I also have my own personal crosses, and can make canna infused honey and oil with some limited edible/baking experience. I also offer consulting services for lighting/ventilation humidity control and grow room set up.

Hi, Joshua Alberts with Ameri-Shred. I have been fielding requests for cannabis shredders from greenhouse consultants & distributors for the last 6 months and the calls are still coming in. Companies are looking to ferment, mix, compost and dispose of. Because of the demand we have a line dedicated to this. We do not sell direct but thru distributors. Trying to get any feedback has been a bear do to the nature of the business. Any thoughts, suggestions??? Interested dealers in mind??? These machines are cost affective, User friendly, environmentally friendly, Indoor/Outdoor use and quiet!!! I hope by reaching out to you this way was ok but as you know numbers and locations are understandably discreet. Thanks either way, and I look forward to hearing back from you or someone at your office. Sincerely, Joshua Alberts Ameri-Shred Corp. (989) 340-6503
