Auto's were made for Alaska with our long summer daylight, with the ability to flower on 24 hrs of daylight unlike regular cannabis that's needs daylight cut to 12 hrs to begin flowering you can have a crop from seed in as little as 65 days, but average around 70-85 days, they have come along ways with some awesome strains and larger yields, its all I grow now.

Id be curious to read what strains and more importantly what breeders/banks youre getting these autos from..
Many many people will argue that autos are a complete waste of time.
Care to share which strains have produced /how much?

I grew quiet a few auto strain now and some are better than others the newer strains are much better and honestly most cant tell the differance in quality in fact I get comments all the time (from dealers even) that say "hey that's good shit". As far as yield some DWC guys can get pounds off one auto most will get a few oz's average.I grow organic so my yields are average to below average but Nute growers can get better yields by far. I would recommend Mephisto's Gear their Supernatural OG is great ! so is their White Train and Sour Crack I have grown got around 90 gs in 70 days from seed. Sweet seeds Trainwreck is one of my favorites its in my avatar. Get seed here. alaskamarijuana.boards.net/thread/30/where-buy-seeds

Autoflowering cannabis is sentitive to nutes so use half strength and slowly add more once you see how much they can take, if they start to burn the tips that's about enough.
Same with growing in organics start slow, and some soils are just too hot and will burn up auto's so be careful what soil you plant in to start with.

Auto's need more daylight then regular photo cannabis so 12 hrs is not enough light to grow them proper, and yield will suffer considerably if grown with less than 14 hrs of light IMO.
Mine get 24-0 and do great, some will argue they need to sleep a few hrs, so they recommend 20-4 or something similar, and if using expensive to run lighting it would be worth a few hrs savings and would not hurt yield too much.
I find my temps easy to control on 24 on and using LED lighting its not terribly expensive to run.
