There's a lot of debate about this right now in our state government- but where do you believe you should legally be able to smoke pot? Should it be treated the same as cigarettes and be allowed in designated areas? Should it be treated the same as alcohol and only allowed in certain public establishments? Should it be banned in parks? Should it be banned in public smoking areas? What's your take on it?
Personally I don't think that it should be legal to smoke in a place where people under the age of 21 are present (in public). In other words, you shouldn't be able to smoke at a park, playground, or pool just like you can't drink at those places. I think designated smoking areas are fine (aka, a specific spot outside of venue where they can smoke if they choose, and I don't have to be around the smoke if they choose; the same way cigarettes are treated). With that being said in establishments, events, and areas for people specifically over the legal age of consumption- by all means, blaze it up.
It should obviously be allowed in homes, private properties, and anything similar. I don't think it should be allowed in cars- which I guess is already the law anyways. It should be kept in an unopened container, just like alcohol. DUIs with marijuana or alcohol are just sh**y, and I'm against it.

Im more then ok with my house being a smoke spot.. Come on over Agreed! Smoking in the comfort of a home is the best spot! I'd love to see legalized 'smoke bars' with big comfy couches where you can just lounge around. My inner hippie heart just wants like, huge beanie bag chairs, and fire places, and a snack-section in the corner. haha

What we would like, and what we are allowed too, are going to be, two totally different aspects. Get ready for word play to its finest degree. IMHO......I think once it's all in writing, we will be thankful we at least get to smoke in our own homes with less harassment from cops, but don't count on your neighbor's.
