In a nutshell....Your soil is your medium where life takes place, it is fed and nourished and is a rich microbe colony that eats starches and sugars and leaves behind byproduct that's food plants can take in as nourishment.
My soil is made up of roughly : cococoir 30% compost 30% earth worm castings 20% and 10 % perlite,I then add in a handful of : kelp meal, alfalfa meal, rock dust then water in a compost tea and let cook for a minimum of two weeks the longer the better,gives the microbes time to get going good and ready for your seedlings without burning them.
